When my children weren’t babies anymore, but still very young. I had a great desire for my family to start attending church. I did a lot of praying and researching on churches in the area. According to what I read about St. Peter’s, it was just the kind of church I’ve been praying for. We visit St. Peter’s for the first time about a year and a half ago. It has been one of the best decision we’ve made. My children and I were baptized here. I love that this church is bible based, have a nice and welcoming congregation with many young families. And the Pastor is very cool and down to earth.

When my family and I made the decision to move the Cleveland Area from San Diego in January 1983, I asked the Lord four things to make the move in His will. I prayed for a school, a grocery store, mass transportation, and a Bible-believing church within walking distance from our home. St. Peter’s was within 5 minutes of our home on Fernway. St. Peter’s has always been a place of refugee, hope, and acceptance for me and my family.

After moving to Cleveland, I started looking for a church home in Cleveland. I searched online for a Lutheran church near where I lived and since St Peter’s was close, I decided to visit. In retrospect, God really led me there. After attending service, I realized that St Peter’s is a church that believes and preaches the Word of God, and truly lives out its mission statement, “Embracing the world around us with the love of Jesus Christ.” Through church services and Bible study, the Lord has used St Peter’s to strengthen my faith so that I may be a light for Him. Praise be to God!

I love coming to worship at St. Peter’s because I can connect with my savior through Bible study and the preached messages. I also connect with other believers through fellowship activities.
