Christian Education and Youth Ministry (CEYM)
The Board of CEYM is responsible for organizing Adult Bible Study, Children and Youth Ministry and Christian Education.Board membership includes the Chair of the Committee, Pastor, Sunday School and Confirmation teachers and the Director of the Choir. The mission of the board is to equip the Saints to go out and tell about the salvation made possible because of our Saviors death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.
Activities
This is carried out through weekly Adult Bible Study, Sunday School and special events. Special children’s programming or activities are planned on at least a quarterly basis including Trunk ‘r Treating, Shining Star Sundays (Christmas program practice and activities) Children & Youth Christmas programs, planned for the last Advent Service, Sunrise Saturday (Easter program & Easter egg hunt) and youth retreats with other youth within the District. We encourage children and youth involvement in worship activities such as serving as acolytes and sponsoring special services where youth serve as ushers, readers or share their God given talents for music and singing.
